Barking and District Historical Society
Founded 1934

The constitution of the Barking and District Historical Society clearly states in clause 3 that the “membership of the society is open to all persons interested in its aims and objectives”.

To clarify this further the following policy has been adopted by the committee of the society:

The Barking and District Historical Society welcomes any member irrespective of age, culture, disability, gender, marital status, medical status, political belief, race, religion, sexuality, social or financial status.
