ELECTION OF COMMITTEE MEMBERS: The following were elected for the coming year: Mary Blake, Hilary Brunt and Joy Lines.

ELECTION OF VICE-PRESIDENT: Joy Lines was elected as a vice-president of the society.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS: Dorothy Lockwood thanked the committee for the hard work they had put in during the year.

Mrs.
Waters asked if there were any plans for the society to return to Barking Central Library once the refurbishment was complete. John Blake said it was unlikely, but would make further enquiries when it re-opened.CLOSED AT 8.15pm.
