The 5th Chadwell Heath History Fair takes place
Saturday 18th April 10am - 4pm
St.Chad's Church Hall, St.Chad's  Road
Chadwell Heath.

Valence House (London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Heritage) who will be launching a new CD-ROM "Dagenham Life".

MEET THE AUTHORS:Brian Evans, author of numerous local history books; Linda Rhodes, prizewinning author of books including The Dagenham Murder; John Haley and Terry Fenton will be  displaying their new volume on the history of Romford Football Club. Nicky Scowen, author of Searching for the Lost Boys: the World War I memorial in St. Chad’s Church, will be on hand to show visitors the memorial.

The Victorian Church of St. Chad’s will be open to view.

REFRESHMENTS AND DRINKS BE SALE IN THE MAIN HALL – all proceeds to St. Francis Hospice. The room adjacent to the hall is set aside as a café seating area.

We are holding a tombola this year – all proceeds to the Barking and Dagenham Talking Newspaper. Tickets 20p or 6 for £1.00.
